Miramar's building safety inspections are administered by the City's Building Division under the standard Broward County applies county-wide. Covered buildings need a structural safety inspection report and an electrical safety inspection report, each on the County's approved forms.
Miramar's covered stock runs heavily to warehouse and distribution properties, along with retail centres, office buildings and condominium associations. Vilano Engineering delivers both reports and submits them as a single sealed package.
The notice comes from the City's Building Division and tells you which reports are due and by when. It does not tell you what the inspections cover or who is qualified to prepare them.

The electrical report covers the electrical service and distribution equipment. For a warehouse or distribution property, that reaches the main service equipment, distribution panels, and the equipment serving loading areas and site lighting.
Broward's approved structural and electrical report forms are mandatory. A firm's own format is not accepted. Every page is signed and sealed by the professional responsible for that scope, and the completed package is filed with the City's Building Division rather than with the County.
The inspection is not confined to the enclosed building. Elevated decks, walkways, parking garages, and docks and seawalls attached to a covered building are part of the scope — which for a retail centre or distribution property means the parking structure, the loading dock and any elevated walkway.
Miramar applies the same county standard as Pompano Beach and Deerfield Beach, administered through its own Building Division. Broward's standard carries no infrared thermography requirement, unlike Miami-Dade to the south.
